Odd Fellows and Rebekahs maintain nearly 10,000 lodges in approximately 26 countries. Lodges consist of men and women who unite together for mutual aid and conviviality, providing social and practical support for each other and their communities in every way possible.

The Order at Work:
  • The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs spend over $775 million in relief projects annually
  • The Educational Foundation provides substantial loans and grants to students
  • SOS Children’s Village provides a caring home for orphaned children in Cambodia
  • Living Legacy focuses on planting trees and enhancing our environment
  • The Arthritis Foundation
  • Visual Research Foundation supports vision care and research through the Wilmer Eye Institute.
  • United Nations Pilgrimage for Youth (not affiliated with the United Nations organization.)

Preparing for membership:
  • A man or woman of good character, who is loyal to his or her country and believes in a Supreme Being, is eligible for membership.
  • Odd Fellowship strictly forbids any interference with one’s religious beliefs or political opinions.
  • Most jurisdictions require candidates for the adult lodges to be 18 years old.
  • Each Lodge charges an initiation fee and annual dues. A portion of each member's local dues is sent to the California Grand Lodge and to the international Sovereign Grand Lodge for Odd Fellows charitable work. (Local lodges are always willing to work with applicants experiencing financial hardships.)
  • A candidate must be sponsored by a current member, so the first step towards joining is to find someone who is a current member.
